Share from your phone

Save links to Keep from your phone using the native share sheet. iOS uses a Shortcut. Android needs the installed Keep app from Chrome.

iOS

Use the Keep shortcut to save links from the share sheet:

  1. Sign in to Keep on your phone.
  2. Open Settings -> Mobile.
  3. Create a mobile key and copy it.
  4. Download the Keep shortcut.
  5. Tap Add Shortcut in Shortcuts.
  6. Paste your mobile key when Shortcuts asks for it.
  7. Open Safari or another app, tap Share, then scroll down and tap Edit Actions.
  8. Find Keep, tap the green plus button to add it to Favorites, and reorder it if you want.
  9. Tap Done, then share any link and choose Keep.

Links go straight to Keep. No extra save page opens.

Android

  1. Open Keep in Chrome on Android and sign in.

  2. Tap Chrome's three-dot menu and choose either "Install app" or "Add to Home screen", depending on what your device shows.

  3. If Keep still does not show up in the Android share sheet, try a different launcher. Some phones hide share targets in the default Quickstep launcher, but they show up in Microsoft Launcher.

  4. Share any link and pick Keep from the share sheet.
